In 2011 we established the first of our Management and Training events. Our second event focusing on training and management was held in March 2012 at the Wellcome Collection in central London.

These events are intended to run in March each year as a compliment to our visits and other contact with departments over email and telephone. The Training & Management days are held 6 months from the annual forum, which is held in September each year.
The Management session provides management teams, typically comprising of directorate managers, clinical directors and senior administrators, with the opportunity to discuss issues such as departmental productivity and the management of contract annualisation, extra/WLI sessions and leave. This discussion takes place with colleagues from other departments and the CLWRota team.
A major subject of the 2012 Management session was our departmental benchmarking analysis and productivity visualisation in the form of department "sessions achieved" and "sessions lost" graphs.
The Training session is intended to give rota operational staff both the opportunity to discuss the use of the rota with people from other departments, but also to have the CLWRota team on hand to discuss difficult issues.
The Training session also gives attendees the opportunity to receive "Tips & Tricks" training from the CLWRota team to learn of effective techniques and short-cuts for working in the rota.
